Female Bodyguard Training

Some people might think that the bodyguard field doesn’t see many females. The truth is that there are far more male bodyguards, but females are not exactly lagging behind. As a matter of fact, being a well-trained female can increase your chances of landing a high-paying job. The reason for this is that there are numerous female celebrities that feel more comfortable with female bodyguards. This has led schools to open Female Bodyguard Training courses, where they take only females to teach them how to use the given tools at the best of their abilities. In addition, new associations have been created to provide helpful tips to all female bodyguards.

ASI Consultants & Associates

The ASI Team has been providing training courses and services for several years. Their leader – and president – has almost 30 years of experience in the field, and happens to be a certified PPS, CPS and EPS. They strive to offer the highest-quality training, as well as protective services, and in recent years, they have seen the growing demand for female bodyguards. Even though the training has always been opened for both genders, they decided to open an all-female bodyguard training program, so females could interact more openly. After their first class graduated, they received tons of emails and inquiries requesting more classes. The price for their course is $225.00 and has three-day duration; at the end, the students will receive the following certificates:

  • Executive Protection
  • Defensive Tactics
  • Handgun Retention
  • Hand-to-Hand Techniques Training

Athena Worldwide

Athena Academy is an organization managed by women for women. Athena understands that it can be difficult for a woman to juggle family life along with a career in the bodyguard field. Therefore, they have some of the most fulfilling programs available, including their top-notch all-female bodyguard training program. Their staff includes former members of the famous Israeli counterterrorism unit, known as Special Forces. Moreover, if you’re unsure about taking the leap, you can try their short self-defense programs first. In addition, if you decide to enroll in their Female Bodyguard Training course, you will be facing real world situations where you will have to bring your best skills to use. There are 80 hours to be completed in the course and the total cost is $2,000; the program takes place in Atlanta, GA and Greece.

International Bodyguard Association – Women’s Branch
